Dr Myo Htet Kyaw graduated from the Defense Services Medical Academy in 2002. After graduation, he continued to pursue for Master of Medical Science in Surgery, during which, he received the clinical training in the Defense Services General Hospitals (Yangon), Orthopedic Hospital (Yangon) and Yangon Children Hospital. He completed his surgical training and achieved the Master of Medical Science for Surgery in 2007. In 2010, he underwent advanced surgical training of Colorectal Surgery in National University Hospital, Singapore. In 2015, he completed the training on Laparoscopic surgery in the National University Anan Hospital, Seoul, Korea.
Dr Myo has gained enormous clinical experience throughout his long career. From 2002 to 2012, he had practiced general surgery and gastrointestinal surgery including accident and emergency surgery in military hospitals. From 2012 to 2017, he worked as a Consultant Surgeon at Zabuthiri Specialist Hospital in Nay Pyi Daw. In 2017, he joined Pun Hlaing Siloam Hospitals (Mandalay) as a Specialist and has been providing good and safe clinical care to the patients.
